Our Story

Mecco Animal Rescue was founded out of a shared concern for the overwhelming number of stray animals in Dar es Salaam. Our founders united with a common goal: to positively impact the lives of these animals and address their welfare needs. By working together and engaging our community, we believe we can create meaningful change.

To rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in distress, while promoting responsible pet ownership and advocating for animal welfare within our community.
