Mecco Animal Rescue

Mecco Animal Rescue (MARE) began in 2024 as a small dream shared between two friends — our founder and co-founder — who met through their love for animals and a longing to make a difference. Soon after, they were joined by three kind-hearted individuals who believed in the same mission: to speak up for animals who cannot speak for themselves.

Though our journey is still very young, our hearts are full. With no official shelter yet, we do all we can from the Mecco Veterinary Clinic, where our rescued animals are cared for, loved, and given a second chance. Every life we save — whether it’s a dog found injured on the roadside or a kitten abandoned and scared — reminds us why we started this journey.

We are not a large organization, but what we lack in size, we make up for in love, commitment, and faith in humanity. We believe that with kind souls beside us, we can grow into something much bigger — a safe and loving shelter where no animal has to suffer alone.

We humbly invite you to be part of this mission. Whether you can volunteer your time, offer a skill, donate supplies, or support us financially, your help truly means the world to us — and even more to the animals we serve. Together, we can build something beautiful.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our mission. Your kindness gives us hope, and your support brings rescue, healing, and love to animals who need it most

Meet Kimshe — A Little Soul Holding On to Hope

We found Kimshe helplessly grounded on the street… barely moving, scared, and in pain. Her tiny body was broken, but her spirit still clung to life. It was our beloved animal angel, Miss Farheen, who first saw her lying there—fragile and forgotten. Without hesitation, she called our rescue team, and because we still don’t have a shelter of our own, we took her into the safety of our clinic.
We named her Kimshe, which means "purpose" – because her life matter.

An X-ray revealed the heartbreaking truth: Kimshe has a severe pelvic fracture and a complete femoral fracture near the top of her leg. She can’t stand, she can’t walk — but she wants to liv.
But we believe in miracles – and we believe in you.

Thanks to Farheen, Kimshe got a second chance. But now, she needs all of us to make her healing possible.
We’re humbly asking anyone with a kind heart to help us cover the cost of her treatment, surgery, and ongoing care. No amount is too small — your support could mean the difference between pain and peace, between despair and recovery.

Please, let’s not turn away from her suffering. Help us give Kimshe the future she deserves.
Help us give Kimshe the life she deserves – pain-free, loved, and full of purrs.
